On Thursday, Hougang United were invited invited to a medical convention at Fairmont Hotel.The host was Storz medical, the leader in shock wave therapy. They treated two of Hougang United players Fareez Farhan & Faiz Salleh to show how treatments can be done.
A total of 80 doctors were in the seminar.
The invited speaker Dr. Stephan Swart from Germany is a friend of Hougang United FC sports performance coach Dirk Schauenberg and who had invited the club to take part in this medical meeting here in Singapore.
The medical convention was about the theoretical and practical basics, background in fascia therapy and the use of the fascia and spine transmitter.
These kinds of medical treatment allows a faster healing process for injured players and is a modern way of medical treatment in many professional clubs in Europe.
